Jet Ski Registration Numbers

You bought a JetSki or other personal watercraft and now you need to get your boat registration numbers or your Michigan MC numbers on it. Great! But you might not have a lot of space to work with, here are some tips.

  1. They MUST be 3″ tall. No exceptions
  2. We offer 2 typefaces that are less wide, Bebas at 18″ from left to right and Impact which is 20″ from left to right. Choose one of those two. Standard other fonts are 22.75″ wide from L-R when you apply your numbers
  3. If your hull is fiberglass, use our standard vinyl Michigan MC Number stickers. If your hull is poly plastic/roto molded, you will need to paint them on and you can order your custom paint mask boat number stencil set to do this. Easy to apply, you press on, paint, and you’re done! It’s flexible so it can go onto curved surfaces. And it peels off easily when paint is dry.
Silver carbon fiber specialty color Michigan MC Numbers

We offer some fancy vinyl – shown above, silver carbon fiber. We offer dark gray carbon fiber, silver carbon fiber and matte black, in addition to 10 other colors of standard vinyl.

Remember, your numbers are permanent – they stay with your jet ski, even when you sell it (you buy a new one, you get new numbers) so the vinyl we sell and you install is permanent for the life of the boat.

These comply with all Michigan regulations, including proper spacing, 3″ tall size and color/typeface requirements. They are EASY to install and go on in under 1 minute. If your JetSki or PWC has a mix of colors and graphics where you are applying them and you can’t figure out which color best contrasts, give us a a call at 517 402 8500 and we’d be happy to help you out.
