Your Michigan MC Number will be listed on your boat’s registration paper and but NOT on your state watercraft sticker. The state sticker has a date (usually the last two digits of the year) and the color changes every three years when you re-register. To find your boat registration number, consult either the small paper you got with the sticker (this looks similar to the one you get with your vehicle) or the title provided by the Secretary of State. It will be MC 1234 XY (your combination of letters and numbers will vary of course) and it will contain a series of numbers/letters after that. You don’t need anything after the MC 1234 XY part to order Michigan MC numbers.
