Why can’t I use script fonts and typefaces for my MC Numbers?

The state of Michigan (and all the other states, by the way) specify 3″ block letters must be used for boat registration number stickers. Why is that? Well, if you’re zooming along your lake and doing something, shall we say, not altogether safe or smart, the sheriff or DNR needs to read those boat numbers! Can they pull you over for script numbers? Yes, they can, and usually they do it when you were also doing something you shouldn’t be doing.

But fortunately for you, we have TEN fonts and colors, including some really nice ones that make your boat registration numbers and Michigan MC numbers look really nice! You can even order your boat name or port of call in three lovely script fonts to add to your boat to coordinate your numbers AND your boat’s name! Plus, you can choose any one of our 10 vinyl colors for both and match everything to your boat’s colors.

Our least blocky font and one with a little personality is the typeface Castle, and you can see examples of each typeface on the ordering page by clicking on the small photos underneath the big one to see the various typefaces. Sorry, it’s not dynamic, in that it will show you YOUR name in the font you chose but you’ll see clear examples.
